Let this be a place where poetry,be it in the form of words, math equations, images or programs, be honored. I invite all members of the "Culture and Science Writing Workshop" to add their poetry to this site. Please add your work as comments, or those members who would like to be added as authors to this blog, please let me know. In this way we will have a record of the verse that we can all look back on and appreciate.

The woman from Tralfamadore
went over the edge
out the door
She drove a wedge
The night before
Through the hedge
and to the ledge
over the oven
And into the coven
Between the sheets
and into the nest
I'm here to live
not merely in jest
I see the light
and I want more
I'm here to fight
the Trojan war
When muskets echo nevermore
is when the King will answer for
the things he didn't do before
He led us all into a war
The woman from Tralfamadore
Coming from a distant shore
Whence a noodle hits the floor
She does so knowing something more
Searching for the humidor
The woman from Tralfamadore
Circles 'round the country store
The willows weep and dragons roar
Forgive, I will digress no more
there is a motion on the floor
The woman from Tralfamadore
would Shirley bring esprit de corps?
To all of you who've come before
Look upon her bowling score
As nothing to prepare us for
The woman from Tralfamadore
